Hi and thank you for stopping by,

To get you caught up quickly, I started my blog back in December of 2009 and titled it after the book I was writing, Is Dis Normal or Dysfunctional?

Well, I have finished my book, three times now, and am almost done…again…and I feel like I have divulged enough about me, a quirky and fun mother of three boys with a hot temper and a deep love for my children, my husband, my sisters, my mother, my friends and yes, even my in-laws.

I am terrified of sharks but love to swim in the ocean, I love running my fingers across soft cheeks and cashmere, and I live for life’s challenges and adventures, which is a good thing because my boys and my husband, who looks like James Bond but behaves like Will Ferrell, keep me on my toes.

So welcome to Aspen Real Life, a blog that tells raw and true stories about life and family travel in the mountains and beyond.

There is something for everybody over here, as long as you find humor in an often disorganized, always late person whose main criteria for friends is that they are amusing, positive, brilliant and very, very silly.
