I've been a Mac lover every since I kicked my PC out the back door after I purchased my 1st G4 back in 2000. I'm on my 2nd Mac while my husband is on his fifth PC since then.

So when the iPhone came out, I was naturally glued to the TV foaming all over it every time a commercial came on for the ultimate Techo-gadget. My husband gave me a 1st generation iPhone on my birthday and it was the scream heard around the neighborhood.

To say I didn't really know what to do with it at first is an understatement. It was like being thrown into a sudden arranged marriage with me and the groom just staring at one another on the living room sofa.

But as time went by, and after I loaded my first apps, I fell so hard in love with my iPhone that I seriously considered divorcing my husband and skipping town with my new-found love.

Even with it's quirks - like the ever crappy quality of photos from the camera - or the occasional rebooting - I am still in love with my iPhone. It has opened a whole new Techo-world to me that I didn't know existed.

I broke down and bought one for my husband who is about as computer literate as a cow, and it changed his whole world. After one year, he has actually dabbled in the possibility of making his own app!

I'm considering getting the 3rd gen iPhone, but am afraid of breaking up with my 1st gen iPhone as it has brought me through a lot since we first met.

So as you can see, I promote RUNNING OUT THE DOOR AND BUYING ONE NOW!

Your kids WILL understand once they play a few rounds of "Cooking Mama", while waiting for their food in a restaurant. AND it will save your sanity more times than you'll know.

Get the damn iPhone! I love mine, anyway. I love Pandora, which I use all the time when I'm in the car or working out. Also, I'm wondering if there's an application that teaches sex education to pre-pubescent boys.

Think I may be getting one soon, a reward for looking after the kids all the time, and am looking forward to it. I am sure after the initial few years everything will go back to normal, lol.

I was feeling the pull towards one of the phones for months when we still lived out east. But the problem was solved for me when we returned to Colorado to live in house where we don't even get cell service, I can hardly rationalize getting a "gadget" that I can't use most of the time. Honestly I think it is all how you use the piece of technology, I know that I worried that it would further my distance me from the world around me, like the internet does sometimes. Did I really want to be connected to the interworld while was out being in the real one?

I have an iPhone and rarely use its applications. After purchasing, I was glued to twitter and facebook updates while waiting in doctor's office. But now find it a nuisance to log in and prefer to read magazines. So basically, I use it to make and receive phone calls. Oh, and I do like to take pictures. But my old cell phone could do all of that. Though it was not quite as pretty.
